Das Kapitel befasst sich mit dem Soziolekt tschechischer schwuler Männer, der in der Community in Prag und im Online-Umfeld verwendet wird. Eine Besonderheit dieses Soziolekts ist die Feminisierung der Sprache, die auf mehreren Ebenen stattfindet: Ersetzung männlicher Ausdrücke (Bezeichnungen) durch weibliche Entsprechungen, Umwandlung von (männlichen) Namen in die weibliche Form oder Verwendung von Diminutiven. Das Kapitel ist Teil eines Festschriftes, das anlässlich des 70. Geburtstags der tschechischen Genderlinguistin Jana Valdrová entstanden ist.

This chapter deals with the sociolect of Czech gay men used in the community in Prague and in the online environment. A specific characteristic of this sociolect is the feminization of language, which occurs on several levels: the replacement of masculine expressions (names) with feminine equivalents, the feminization of personal and family names, or the use of diminutives. The chapter is part of a book published on the occasion of the 70th life anniversary of Czech gender linguist Jana Valdrová.
