The chapter, deals with certain aspects of this conceptin relation to the individual in the human rights intentions, i.e. with thisentitlement from the point of view of its beneficiary. In particular, analyzeswhether, contrary to the title itself, it is a really autonomous right. Whether it isan absolute right.; What is the relationship between this entitlement and otherfundamental rights, such as the right to privacy and the right to the protectionof personal data or the right to information? Also, questions of terminologyand the definition of this term are not unambiguous are explained.Furthermore, it evaluates the effectiveness of this entitlement, especiallywhether its usage in practice serves for the benefit of the individual in allcases and whether it is not capable to cause the opposite tendencies, known asthe “Streisand effect”.
