Landeswappen, Landeswappen und Wappengalerien der Landesbeamten gehörten zu den grundlegenden Identifikationsmerkmalen des Landes. Sie sind Symbole, die die Souveränität des Landes, seine Staatlichkeit oder die ausschließlichen Befugnisse eines bestimmten Beamten formell zum Ausdruck brachten. Das Vorhandensein heraldischer Symbole wurde nicht nur als notwendiger Teil der Darstellung der betreffenden Akteure angesehen, sondern auch als Ausdruck der vollen Legitimität der Ausübung öffentlicher Macht. Wappendenkmäler des mährischen Landesrechtskreises finden sich in schriftlichen Rechtsquellen (in Manuskripten zur Grundbucheintragung, in Gerichtsbüchern, auf den Titelseiten der gedruckten Beschlüsse des Landestags oder in Landesordnungen). Zu diesen Denkmälern gehören auch zwei Wappengalerien mit den Wappen von Beamten, die die Wände der Provinzgerichtssäle schmückten. Diese heraldischen Reliquien bilden eine sehr bemerkenswerte Sammlung für den Peridot der Monarchie der Stände.

Provincial coats of arms, sovereign coats of arms and armorial galleries of provincial officials were among the basic means of identification of the country. They are symbols that formally expressed the sovereignty of the country, its statehood or the exclusive powers of a given official. The presence of heraldic symbols was seen not only as a necessary part of the presentation of the actors concerned, but also as an expression of the full legitimacy of the exercise of public power. Heraldic monuments for the Moravian provincial law circle are found in written legal sources (in manuscripts registering land tenure, in court books, on the title pages of the printed conclusions of the provincial diet or in provincial codes). These monuments also include two armorial galleries with the coats of arms of officials that decorated the walls of provincial court rooms. These heraldic relics form a very remarkable collection for the peridot of the monarchy of the Estates.
