The study introduces several personages whose lives were influenced by love for God and the desire to fulfill their mission in accordance with God's will in the process of service to young people in the context of various historical events and periods. Apostolate and attention to personal development implies a lot of modifications of love in the lives of the presented founders of Christian communities. Each of them brought an unrepeatable charism and a distinctive way of expressing love into the activities and the service to young people. These are the very phenomena that we analyze in this study. The message of the presented personages is relevant also nowadays and each of them has their followers and sympathisers all around the world
