As part of the project "Optimizing of agriculture and river landscape with accent to biodiversity", impact of different managements of pastures to soil subsystem was investigated. The first locality was situated near Mořkov town (East Moravia) at fragmented pasture with mosaic of different management. Different combinations of several treatments were done at subsites. The first treatment variant was: permanent sheep grazing - mowing - grazing-mowing rotation ? mulching. This treatment was combined withpresence or absence of fertilization (N, P, K) and with different frequency of mowing (2 or 3 time per year). The second and third locality was situated at field with mosaic of plot sown by different seeds. As seeds were used commercial mixture of foddercrops, local mixture of seeds with high proportion of herbs and local mixture of seeds with low proportion of herbs. Control plot was a spontaneous fallow. The second and third locality differed in age of field - one year and 10 years re
