Fields (especially finite fields) play an important role in many algebraic applications. Some of them, e.g. applications in coding theory and in algebraic cryptography are well known. In the paper the attention was paid to the using of the sophisticatedmathematical software MAPLE for the effective solving of algebraic problems. This paper contains some other possibilities how to use MAPLE for solving of field theory problems.
