The comprehensive contribution about problems of fungicide resistance in Pseudoperonospora cubensis populations and methods of its screening is presented here. It is the summary of the most important theoretical knowledge up to now on this field of study. On the case study from the Czech Republic, the detailed results of study of P. cubensis populations, are demonstrated. It is the first chapter composed as the monograph about fungicide resistance in P. cubensis populations in the world literature.
