Advanced GIS application for real-time crisis management support via Internet platform
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The paper presents the design and deployment of Crismapp - an application aids on the elimination of loss of life and property, developed to support of decision-making processes of the rescue services. It is designed for strategic, tactical and operational management, available in three levels: visualization, enhanced editing mode and full administration. Technologically it is based on the WebGIS 2.0 principle, defined as the combination of WebGIS with Web 2.0 approaches. It supports a wide range of Web standards and a hybrid approach (GeoJSON). As far as possible it implements open souce solutions and standards, and it is built under HTML5, mapping functionality is supported by Leaflet library. Besides basic map functionality it handles with a number of advanced features, especially edit mode for editing both spatial and attribute geographic data in real-time directly via the web browser, connection to cloud storage GitHub/Gist for versioning, complex administration, four predefined default scenarios on various contexts (default, fire, flood, Vrbetice blasts) as a real-life concept of adaptive cartography. The application is filled with real data for real purposes, it allows centralized update and manage data in real-time by rescue services. Currently, it is under the pilot phase of testing by the Fire Department of the Olomouc region.
