This annual summary report offers an overview of solved contracts according to the orders placed by the BorsodChem MCHZ s.r.o. company during 2016. Based on the precisely defined requirements from the customer, the analytical studies were conducted, involving the spectral analyses of several products and by-products. Moreover, the quality control of several parameters by means of the ICP-MS, SEM/EDX and XRPD (identification of main and trace components of the various decontamination end-products) was performed. In addition, the methods of ICP-MS and SEM/EDX were used to identify the unknown contaminant in the process samples. The outcomes of this commercial cooperation led to the set of recommendations concerning the possible modifications in the production processes.
