During a mycofloristic survey of selected localities in the Czech Republic and Croatia, several species of the classes Sordariomycetes and Dothideomycetes were found. These collections representnew records for the country or for Europe. The following species are characterised, illustrated and discussed: Montagnula cirsii, Paradiaporthe artemisiae (first collections for the Czech Republic), Jahnula sangamonensis (first published collection for Europe) and Thyronectria pistaciae (first collection for Croatia).
