Selected body composition fractions in relation to the Physical Activity in overweight and obese women aged 30-45 years
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Physical activity can provide health benefits and thus reduce the risk of obesity complications and improve mental well-being. Our research objective was to analyse selected body composition fractions in relation to meeting recommended physical activity (PA) in overweight and obese women aged 30-45 years. Women were divided into two groups according to the according to the achieved PA level (medium PA: 3 to 6 MET; GREATER-THAN OR EQUAL TO 150 min/week). Descriptive characteristics and data analysis were carried out using the Statistica 10.0. Higher value of the FFP (Fat- free Percentage) and lower value of BFP (Body Fat Percentage) was found in women with adequate PA, than women with inadequate PA. Positive approach to the PA may lead to smaller number of health problems associated with excess weight and obesity.
