The possibilities of the dramatherapeutical intervention for addicted people in the proces of detoxification
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
In the field of dramatherapy interventions aimed at addicted persons in detoxification units, no relevant methodology is available. At the same time, the implementation of dramatherapy approaches in the healthcare sector is problematic. Last but not least (according to scientific research), very little attention is paid to the specifics of dramatherapy designed for these clients. The paper deals with the application of dramatherapy designed for persons with addiction in detoxification units. The author presents a part of her dissertation entitled The use of dramatherapy in a detoxification unit. The paper contains theoretical definitions of dramatherapy, dramatherapists and their competences as well as the specifics of dramatherapy work with addicted persons. In addition, the paper describes the results of a quantitative research study aimed at verification of the author’s dramatherapy methodology for persons with addiction in detoxification units. The aim of the research was to verify the effectiveness (and benefit) of the author’s own dramatherapy methodology for clients with addiction and for providers of comprehensive care in detoxification units.
