Successful prevalence of active and healthy life style is subject to the knowledge of all care determinants, correlated, causal variables, mediators, moderators and confounders that influence physical activity (Bauman, Sallis, Dzewaltowski, & Owen, 2002). In the years 2003 and 2004, we carried out a nationwide research of physical activity of the Czech Republic population aged 15 to 69, which was a part ?f an international research organized worldwide. By using the "International physical activity questionnaire" (IPAQ), we investigated the influences of the type of housing and physical conditions on PA (involving vigorous PA, moderate PA and walking). The survey used a systematic random sample of 5186 males and 5614 females selected from all regions inthe Czech Republic. We have identified significant difference in the total weekly PA in association to type of housing only in men (p=0,000). The differences in PA in females were not significant (p=0, 191) and they were likely influence
