The 2nd Czech Philosophy of Sport Conference brought a representative overview of the topics the most discussed in the present day. The majority of the problems was also presented in the form of a confrontation of perspectives of two or more scholars, and amply discussed with the auditorium. Three of the main questions were presented by three important personalities of the philosophy of sport: prof. dr. Anna Hogenová (Charles University in Prague, Pedagogical faculty), prof. dr. Jim Parry (Charles University, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport) and Jun.-prof., dr. Arno Müller (Fakultät für Sozial- und Verhaltenswissenschaften, Friedrich Schiller Universität Jena, Germany). The lectures of the three keynote speakers touched the topics of: the bodyas a key problem in philosophy; the role of technology in the recent developpement of sport; the possibilities of a philosophical investigation of the pedagogical potential of sport.
