The Czech Armed Forces Chemical Corps specialists are going to be deployed in fulfillment of operational tasks in which high professional preparedness, special technical equipment and personnel skills are demanded. They are permanently confronted with the reality of Chemical Warfare Agents and Toxic Industrial Materials existence in military operations practically wherever on the World. Their present, a permanent threat of their either usage or leakage into the environment call for the necessity of planning, organization a realization of the whole spectrum of measurements which lead to the consequence management after their employment. The paper deals with some aspects of protective characteristics of selected protective devices used to isolative protection.
