This paper deals with the analysis and subsequent evaluation of the financial situation of households in the CR and their living conditions between 2005 and 2009. This is based on data from the National SILC (Statistics on Income and Living Conditions) and through common EU methodology can make a comparison with other Member States. Households are divided into two artificial groups according to income level that is at risk of poverty on households and households with higher income. Disposable income ofhouseholds of each type is further divided into sub-parts (labor, social, and other). It was also a more detailed breakdown of housing costs for different types of households. Comparison of average disposable income and average housing costs showed how high the differences in the income situation between different types of households are. About 17 % of average household income spent on housing only. For households at risk of poverty are around 40 % and conversely high-income households w
