Time minimizing transportation of calamity fallen timber
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
In the field of transportation problems is usually the most decisive optimization criterion minimizing of transportation costs. However, there are situations where it is necessary to transport the material quickly. This is especially the case of materialtransport when it is transported a perishable material. In case the material is transported in time, i.e. before its vitiation, it may be further used and brings economic profit. Otherwise, there is the degradation with all the ensuing consequences. Inthis paper it is optimized calamity timber transportation from collection points to places of processing. Emphasis was placed on minimizing the transportation time. The reason for the solution of the problem was the need for calamity fallen timber transportation after hurricane Kyrill from collection points in the Bohemian Forest to processing sites. For solving the problem it was not possible to use the known methods of transportation problems. Therefore, the authors proposed the method
