Natural wildlife migrations are often disrupted by the construction of line structures, especially freeways. Various overpasses and underpasses (migration objects) are being designed to enable species to pass through line structures. The newly developedoriginal procedure for the quantification of the utility of migration objects (migration potentials) and sections of line structures retrieves the deficiencies of the previous ones. The procedure has been developed under bulk information obtained by monitoring migrations using camera system and spy games. The log-normal distribution functions are used. The procedure for the evaluation of the probability of the permeability of the line structures sectors is also presented. The above mentioned proceduresand algorithms can be used while planning, preparing, constructing or verifying the measures to assure the permeability of line structures for selected feral species.
