The economic performance of agricultural companies is supposed to be lower comparing to business entities from other industries. The need for going concern concept of agricultural enterprising not only in the Czech Republic, however in the whole EU, strongly involves the EU Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) instruments. The upcoming programming period 2014 - 2020 has opened again intensive discussions towards possibilities for modification the CAP within the frame of encouragements for a sustainable economic development for agricultural business entities. Simultaneously, there can be seen attempts of especially smaller single standing farmers to utilise possible favours, which are connected with mutual cooperation. The incentive to increase economic efficiency in agricultural production is obvious and it is stressed with proposed scenarios of future CAP development.
