The Importance of this issue apparent from the current situation not only in Czech Republic, but the entire European labor market, where 12% of EU citizens which means that 27 million people cannot find proper employments. The category of university graduates creates a social group which can be marked as highly risky, due to the significant economical, psychological and sociological impact of unemployment on this category. The work is based on the hypothesis that certain field of study are more requested on the Czech labor market than the others and thus an appropriate choice of discipline of study can influence the future career prospects of graduates.
