Ecological impacts of line structures are increasingly discussed. Underpasses are understood as an important element in ensuring the per-meabi-li-ty of motorways. Width, height and length are the main technical parameters that affect the migration ofanimals. At first glance it is clear that large values of the width and height of the underpass ensure its good functionality, but cause high financial costs. Small values of the underpass length are appropriate in terms of both ecology and economics, but are not realistic. The aim of the article is based on the data using relevant statistical methods to ascertain whether the technical parameters affect the migration of animals and how. A~logit model can be an appropriate statistical tool in this case.Authors have got a large amount of data for different types of underpasses obtained using camera systems, spy games and traditional forms of monitoring.
