The presented work was focused on the improvement procedures of assessment weed seedbank in the soil. The main objectives of the research were included two experiments. The effect of different soil sampling procedures on the precision of estimating weedseedbank in soil using three soil core samplers with a circular base of 13, 64 and 80 mm in diameter were studied in a first experiment. In a second experiment was compared hand elutriation under running water and elutriation using the device Analysette3 (Fritsch Firm).
