The objective of the present study was a detailed analysis of the exterior of the Old Kladruby white horse in the Stud Farm Kladruby. We applied 26 body dimensions, 5 angles of extremity joints and 11 hippo-metrical indices of 83 breeding horses to analyse the population according to the paternal lines (5 lines), sex (stallions and mares) and age categories (4 classes). The resulting measures were analysed statistically by means of a linear model with fixed effects (GLM). Most of the highly significantdifferences were differences detected between the stallions and mares. The stallions have a significantly more marked convex profile of the head and circumference of the shank. The mares have a highly significantly larger chest, width of coxae and anglesof the shoulder and knee joints. The differences among the lines are minimal. Only line Rudolfo is the least compact.
