The basic precondition of the artificial insemination in horse breeding is the selection of quality stallions that produce enough of ejaculate of a good quality. Many methods of ejaculate quality evaluation have been developed for this purpose. One of possible methods, additional examination of stallion sperm, is the object of this dissertation. Monitoring of physical qualities of ejaculate was performed in 11 clinically healthy breeding stallions that are employed within breeding program of Czech warmblood. 95 samples were collected for further examination of the electrical conductivity and assesment of basic qualitative and quantitative indicators.
