An Influence of Hybrid Combination on Reproductive Results in Commercial Pig Breeding
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The aim of the study was to evaluate an influence of used hybrid combinations on reproductive results of sows in chosen commercial pig breeding. These reproductive traits of tested hybrid sows were monitored: number of all, lively born, weaned piglets, losses from lively born piglets till weaning. These influences with impact on reproductive characters were studied: hybrid combination, number of litter, length of interval. In the study these hybrid combination were monitored: (CLW x CL) x (D x CLW - sire line) and (CLW x CL) x (D x Pn). From reached results it is possible to pronounce that tested hybrid combination (CLW x CL) x (D x CLW - sire line) reached higher number of lively born (10.92) and weaned piglets (10.11) compared to hybrid combination (CLW x CL) x (D x Pn) with 10.23 of lively born and 9.44 of weaned piglets. Size of litter is growing till the third litter, on the fourth litter the size is lower and then the size is growing till eighth litter. It is hard to evaluate tenth and ninth litter because the only one sow was monitored. Sows on eighth litters show the highest number of lively born piglets (14.15) and weaned piglets (12.40), after them sows on third litters - 11.83 of lively born and 11.42 of weaned piglets. The lowest number of lively born and weaned piglets were registered on ninth and tenth litters - 7.00 (9.00) lively born and 6.00 (9.00) weaned piglets.
