Interaction between Somatic Cells Count and Milk Composition with Regard to Daily Production
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The aim of this study was to determine the factors affecting the Daily Milk Yield per milking, protein percentage, fat percentage and lactose percentage from Bohemian Pied Red cows managed in the Mediterranean climatic conditions in Czech Republic. The farm considered in this study were visited daily for one year to measure dairy milk yield auto collect milk samples from each cow during morning and evening milkings. A total of data from 45 Czech Red Pied cows for each trait were analyzed by using repeated measures. The conclusions can be stated statistically significant effect (p<0.05) of season on milk production and milk protein content of individual components. There was also found a negative correlation between the milk production to the protein content and fat content of milk. For cows with milk yield of 20 kg of milk fat content was 3.66%, with a declining trend in dairy cows with the yield of 20-27 kg milk fat content of milk, then dropped to 3.53%, the lowest fat content of 3.35% was found in cows producing more than 27 kg of milk. When evaluating the state of health of dairy cows has been found that the most sensitive group for disease mastitis dairy cows with the highest milk yield.
