Ten new species are described in Ruschieae (Ruschioideae-Aizoaceae) Arenifera kamiesbergensis, Antimima calcarea, Lampranthus saxatilis, L. worcesterensis, Leipoldtia quarciticola, Phiambolia ericoides, P. pauciflora, Ruschia namaqualina, Ruschiella mollissima and Smicrostigma intermedium. All these species are Shrubby and are endemic to the Northern and Western Cape Provinces of South Africa. They are habitat-specialists endemic to limestone Antimima), quartz-gravel (Leipoldtia) and to arid mountain fynbos (Ruschiella, Phiambolia). In addition, we transfer Ruschia frederici to Ruschiella, with Lampranthus montaguensis as a new synonym.
