Kniha Územní diferenciace nerovností ve zdraví v České republice vznikla za finanční podpory Technologické agentury České republiky jako součást projektu &quot;Nerovnosti ve zdraví v České republice: význam a vztah determinant zdravotního stavu obyvatelstva v územních disparitách&quot;. Na řešení projektu se podíleli akademičtí pracovníci Mendelovy univerzity v Brně (Fakulta regionálního rozvoje a mezinárodních studií) a Masarykovy univerzity (Lékařská fakulta), ale také další odborníci z praxe. Záměrem projektu bylo rozšířit možnosti aplikace znalostí o determinantách zdraví obyvatelstva v regionech České republiky. V textu knihy prezentujeme informace o klíčových determinantách a ukazatelích zdraví a zdravotního stavu obyvatelstva, které odpovídají konceptu nerovností ve zdraví v širokém mezioborovém pojetí. Data vybraných determinant jsou hodnocena na územní úrovni okresů České republiky, tj. celkem 77 regionů (76 okresů a území hlavního města Prahy), v období let 2016-2019. Výsledky jsou, tam kde je to možné, porovnávány také s daty z období let 2013-2015 a 2007-2009. To nabízí možnost sledovat a porovnávat jejich změny v čase. Determinanty a ukazatele zdraví jsou rozděleny do celkem devíti oblastí: 1. Ekonomické podmínky a sociální ochrana 2. Vzdělání 3. Demografické změny 4. Environmentální podmínky 5. Individuální životní podmínky 6. Bezpečnost v silniční dopravě a kriminalita 7. Zdroje zdravotní a sociální péče 8. Zdravotní stav 9. Kvalita života Data ukazatelů oblasti jedna až osm jsou sekundární data a data oblasti devět jsou primárními daty z výběrového šetření. Analýzy dat jsou realizované podle jednotné metodiky pro všechny okresy České republiky. Tento jednotný postup tak poskytuje verifikovaný podklad pro srovnávání sledovaných ukazatelů a oblastí a územních diferenciací.

This book entitled &quot;Territorial Differentiation of Health Inequalities in the Czech Republic&quot; was created with the financial support of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic in the framework of the project &quot;Health Inequalities in the Czech Republic: Importance and Relationship of Health Determinants of the Population in Territorial Disparities&quot;. Academic staff from Mendel University in Brno (Faculty of Regional Development and International Studies) and Masaryk University (Faculty of Medicine), as well as other experts from practice, participated in the performance of the project. The text of the book provides comprehensive information on key determinants and indicators of the health and health status of the population, which correspond to the concept of health inequalities in a broad interdisciplinary concept. The data of selected determinants are evaluated at the territorial level of districts of the Czech Republic, i.e., a total of 77 regions (76 districts and the territory of the capital city of Prague) in the period 2016-2019. Where possible, the results are also compared with analyses of data from 2013-2015 and 2007-2009. This provides an opportunity to observe and compare their changes over time. The determinants and indicators of health are divided into a total of nine areas. The data on indicators of areas one to eight are secondary data, and data on area nine are the primary data from the sample survey: 1. Economic conditions and social protection 2. Education 3. Demographic change 4. Environmental conditions 5. Individual living conditions 6. Road safety and crime 7. Sources of health and social care 8. Health status 9. Quality of life The results and relationships of the evaluated areas were used to determine their contribution to the creation of health inequalities. Data analyses are performed according to a uniform methodology for all districts of the Czech Republic. When comparing the results across regions and in the subsequent evaluation of their differences, any disproportions or unexpected findings are not primarily caused by the use of different methods in the statistical evaluation of the data. Hence, this uniform procedure provides a verified basis for comparing the monitored indicators and areas, and territorial differentiations.
