Comparison of the theoretical calculation of resistance in cutting particleboards with an experiment

The paper informs on methods of the determination of cutting resistance in machining wood agglomerated materials by cutting. It is based on the comparison of measurements of the resistance of beech wood and particleboards. The use is described of the HBMT34 tensometric sensor of the moment of torsion with a respective data logger and the adjustment of a feed table from the viewpoint of increasing its rigidity. Results processed in diagrams demonstrate the measurement of the moment of torsion in rippingwood and agglomerated materials by a circular saw blade under constant cutting speed and changes in feed speed.
