Modification of European Union standards of urban recreational forests according to delimitation of capital Prague recreational forests

Admitted European Union standards of urban recreational forests define among others total area needed for recreation and total area of recreational forests needed for recreation regarding to extension of seat (number of the population). All indicators presented in EU standards of urban recreational forests are developed for two zones of recreation: 1st zone -- core zone (half day recreational zone) and 2nd zone -- buffer zone (full day recreational zone). EU standards of urban recreational forests are formulated for seat with number of population 5,000 -- 100,000. For solution of the Ministry of Environment project Problems of care about forests surrounding the capital of Prague regarding their functional usage it appears to be necessary to operate with recreational standard for the city larger than 1,000,000 settlements (number of the population). Methodological approach to this problem was solved by using transformation of indicators of current EU standards to the method of Quantific
