Analysis of genetic variance for separated breeding of Milu (Elaphurus davidianus) in the Czech Republic
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The separation of deer community brings a danger of degeneration (inbreeding depression, such as body abnormality, shortened low jaw, short lifetime, week constitution and low natality). This has been proven with breeding base of Cervus elaphus for limited deer population. This project is researching genetic variance of separated population of Pere david's deer (n = 13) in the game-preserve Dlouha Ves. One from the main targets was to determinate the inbreeding factor through microsatellite board. Polymorphism was proven in the locus RT1, RT13 a T193, where only two alleles were always found. The highest number of genotypes (n = 3) appeared in the locus RT1. The average of genetic diversity, heterozygosity and mean PIC value across all samples were 0.0858; 0.0769 and 0.0703 respectively. Inbreeding factor within tested population in the polymorphic locus was: RT1 = 0.2500; RT13 = -0.0435 a T193 = -0.0435. The test results show high inbreeding factor, but there were found no signs of in
