The construction of new buildings for forest companies should reflect a fact that wood is a full-value building material even for the most challenging types of buildings. It is necessary to prove that it does not concern a material suitable only for temporary and small buildings, truss constructions, posts, fencing or joinery, but materials for the construction of even multi-storey and large-span buildings and structures. Wooden and wood-based constructions should be used more forasmuch as wood is a renewable raw material. With respect to ecological aspects building shows certain negative impacts on the environment and, therefore, it is necessary to support such designs and to use such combinations of building materials, which will have minimum negative impacts on the surroundings. Wooden constructions are buildings of the present time and the future.
