The paper is aimed at the evaluation of populations of Eriophyidae in forest stands of the central and eastern Krušné hory Mts. Through the inspection of groups of trees in selected stands galls of 10 species of Eriophyidae were found: Acalitus rudis andAculus leionotus in birch, Aceria fagineus, Aceria nervisequa and Acalitus stenaspis in beech, Eriophyes inangulis and Eriophyes laevis in alder, Eriophyes pyri in mountain ash and Aceria pseudoplatani and Aceria macrorhyncha in maple. The distributionof Eriophyidae in stands of the study reflects the preference of stands according to forest vegetation zones, age of host species and the typological category of stands.
