Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
This work deals with cambioxylophagous insects on the Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.). Research was conducted in the woods growing on steep slopes on the left bank of the river Otava, less than 1 km north of the town Písek. These woods are nearly unmanaged stands with special function, with natural occurrence of the Scots pine. Twenty standing trees, 60 to 160 years old, which died after the drought in 2003 were examined. Composition of the community of cambioxylophagous insects was recorded in detail.Frequency of occurrence of the individual insect species was found out. Thirty four species of cambioxylophagous insects were recorded. Median number of species developing on one tree was 11. Order of beetles (Coleoptera) prevailed, and within this order predominated bark beetles (Scolytidae), and longhorn beetles (Cerambycidae). Species most often found was Tomicus piniperda (L.), recorded in 90 per cent cases. The significance of this species in dying of analysed Scots pines was evalu
