Possibility of using the pressure and ultrasound sensors for small forest streams flow rate measurement
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
The flow rate evaluation is the elementary task in many fields of forest management and forest engineering practice. Traditional methods of flow rate measurements (float method, hygrometric wing measurement, and derived methods) seem to be not sufficientfor modern accurate proportioning (dimensioning) of forest engineering constructions. A new precision method of flow rate measurement are used in industry, municipality etc. Mentioned methods usually apply some specific sensors with permanent data collection and evaluation by data loggers in accurate defined hydraulic conditions. Presented paper deals with testing the possibility of using the pressure and ultrasound sensors for small forest streams flow rate measurement, means in conditions which are not strictly hydraulic defined. Presented methodology was created for regular measurement of small forest stream. Obtained results outline the tested method efficiency in forest engineering practice.
