The article contains the results of the volatile organic compounds emissions in indoor air of classroom measured in the different kinds of schools. The emissions of VOC were collected in the classroom in the secondary school, in the special classroom forteaching the biology, in technical university in lecture room, in the laboratory for teaching the wood finishing, in the classroom in the new built building and in the teaching workshop. The quality and quantity of VOC emissions and the quality of indoor air in classroom depend of the character of teaching and on the place and in which building the room there is situated
