This article proposes and discusses the importance of the set of main abiotic factors which could be used as a basic stones for the model, explaining the Gravertian hunter-gatherers ecological strategies in and around Moravia. The model is based on environmental conditions of stratified and non stratified Gravettian sites within the region, and supposes that the choose of those sites reflects the hydrogeological, geological and geomorphologic conditions that impacted humans and their prey. Suggestions are made for possible future survey and excavation in the upper course of the Morava and Odra Rivers.
