Public recreation and landscape protection - with sense hand in hand..., that was the name of the conference organized by the Czech Society of Landscape Engineers and Department of Landscape Management of the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology Mendel University in Brno organized under the auspices of prof. Dr. Ing. Libor Jankovský, the Dean of the Faculty of forestry and Wood Technology, Mendel University in Brno, of JUDr. Bohumil Šimek, the Governor of South Moravia, in cooperation with Czech Bioclimatological Society, AOPK ČR (Agency for Nature Conservation and Landscape Protection of the Czech Republic); Administration of the Moravian Karst Protected Landscape Area and Administration of the Krkonoše National Park,and the Czech Environmental Partnership Foundation with the financial support of the Southern Moravia Region and FS Bohemia Ltd. The conference was held on 13th to 15th May 2019 in Křtiny, where over 120 participants heard a total of 16 papers on the issue.
