Microclimate measurements in an experimental installation for the simulation of the effects of elevated CO2 concentrations on a Norway spruce stand
Popis výsledku v původním jazyce
Problems of possible impacts of changes in climate due to the effect of increased concentrations of greenhouse gases have been studied also in forestry. Elevated CO2 concentrations will affect, however, not only climate but also physiological processes including photosynthesis. To study the problem, two experimental installations for the simulation of the effects of increased CO2 concentrations on a Norway spruce stand have been constructed in an experimental ecological field station at Bílý Kříž in theMoravian-Silesian Beskids. To analyze in detail the climate of the spruce stand, a system has been established for measuring the values of photosynthetically active radiation (PAR), air temperature and humidity, soil temperature and volume moisture in the experimental installations and in a control plot.On the basis of verification measurements a system was determined of the arrangement of particular sensors in stands
