The paper analysis the situation in the Czech brewing industry with the focus on barriers to entry in this industry. It is a part of solutions of the research plan of the FBE MUAF in Brno, No. GAMSM 431100007. The basis of this paper is the Porters approach to industry analysis, according to which the barriers to entry are analysed with regard to the Czech brewing industry.
