Mit der Stichmetode wurde das RP in den BlŘten im Knospenstadium, Stadium voller BlŘte und nach dem VerblŘhen gemessen. Die Messungen wurden bei den 6 Arten einslie3lich der Bastarden der Gattung Achillea und bei 3 Ekotypen durchgefŘhrt. Zwischen den Arten wurden signifikante Unterschiede im Inhalt des äther. Íls gefunden. Aus den Ergebnissen der Messungen resultieren signifikante Unterschiede zwischen dem RP der einzelnen Arten. Es wurde keine statistische Abhängigkeit zwischen dem RP und dem Inhalt des äther. Íls festgestelt

The redox potential of flowers of Achillea plants was measured by means of the puncture method.Measurements were performed in 6 taxons (species and hybrids) in the stage of bud formation, full blossom and blossom shedding in years 2000 and 2001. The content of essential oil was estimated in the period of full blossom. Differences of values of redox potential and contens of essential oil measured in individual Achillea species and their hybrids were significant.In 2001, the correlation between the content of essential oil and values of redox potential was positive and significant.
