The practical advices concerning harvesting seed in species-rich grasslands are given for selection of donor sites including description of important types of species-rich semi-natural grasslands, selection of harvest method (green and dry hay harvesting, on site-threshing, dry hay threshing, seed stripping, vacuum harvesting, topsoil stripping, turfing, raking and hay flower) and the main errors to be avoided. 14 pp.
