Tato studie se zaměřuje na analýzu geografických a tematických aspektů zobrazení hranice v literární tvorbě Bernharda Setzweina. Výzkum vychází z chronologického uspořádání vybraných děl, která tematizují česko-bavorskou hranici a byla publikována do roku 2016. Tento přístup umožňuje sledovat vývoj pojetí hranice z hlediska jejího geografického, ale také narativního a strukturálního významu v literárních textech. Cílem je postihnout proměny ve způsobu, jakým je hranice v autorových dílech vnímána a interpretována. Analýza zkoumá, jak se obraz hranice proměňuje v kontextu společenských a historických změn a jak se tyto posuny odrážejí v literárním diskurzu Setzweinových textů.

The present study focuses on the analysis of the geographical and thematic aspects of the representation of the border in the literary works of Bernhard Setzwein. The research is based on a chronological arrangement of selected works that thematize the Bavarian-Czech border and were published up to the year 2016. This approach makes it possible to trace the development of the concept of the border in terms of its geographical, but also narrative and structural significance within the literary texts. The aim is to capture the transformations in the way the border is perceived and interpreted in the author's works. The analysis examines how the image of the border evolves in the context of social and historical changes and how these shifts are reflected in the literary discourse of Setzwein's texts.
