Exploration activities associated with municipal waste management has come to the forefront from multiple perspectives, ranging from the environmental point of view to technological or financial one. It is considered as a challenge mostly due to the increasing complexity of this type of service and current rise of agglomerations and high related service costs. Therefore, optimisation of costs and search for meaningful support represents an understandable research pathway. This paper offers description of the conceptual model of the effective software solution proposal aimed at support of transport logistics, which would effectively automate the area of municipal waste collection services in the particular region of the Czech Republic. It provides withtopic justification, problem definition, description of several use cases, and particular activity-, business process-, and classdiagrams.
