Der Beitrag befasst sich mit den Umständen und Voraussetzungen der Eintritt ersten Frauen in die politische Öffentlichkeit der böhmischen Ländern an der Wende vom 19. zum 20. Jahrhundert. Dies kann als Folge der Modernisierungsprozesse, besonders der Demokratisierung der Gesellschaft, gesehen werden. Eine wichtige Rolle spielt bei der Formierung der politischen Frauenpersönlichkeiten sozialistischen und liberalen politischen Parteien und ein Kampf für das allgemeine Wahlrecht. Die Profilierung der ersten Frauen in institutionellen Politik der böhmischen Länder fand vor allem im Spannungsfeld der sozialen und nationalen Frage und der Differenzierung innerhalb der tschechischen Frauenbewegung statt. Ein integraler Bestandteil der Debatte über die Beteiligung von Frauen am politischen Leben war eine Reflexion ihrer Rolle in der Politik, Bildung der ersten politischen Frauenprogramme und die Bemühungen um einen Kandidaten für die Wahl in den Böhmischen Landtag zu finden. This contribution follows the circumstances and condition of accession of the first women in the political life in Czech Lands at the turn the 19th and 20 th century. Female politicians emerged as a result of modernisation processes, and especialy the democratization of society. Socialist and liberal political parties and the struggle for universal suffrage have played an important role in the shaping of women's political personalities. In the Czech lands, this process was more diverse than in the Austrian lands; the process was influenced by the differentation of Czech political life, the formulation of social issues, nationalism and ultimately changes in the women's movement itself. An integral part of the debate on the participation of women in political life involved reflections on their role in politics, the formation of the first female political programs and the efforts of women's candidates in the Bohemian Provincial Diet.
