Der Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit der Entwicklung „des zweiten Lebens“ – der Relation zur braunauer komponierende Barocklandschaft und ihrer Überbleibseln in 19. und 20. Jahrhunderts. Es erforscht, ob und in welcher Form sich die allgemeinen Grundprinzipe von der Aufklärung, der Säkularisation, der Industrialisierung und dem Nationalismus zu diesem scheinbar peripher Gebiet widergespiegelt wurden. Ein wichtiges Thema stellt der Einfluss des Bevölkerungwechsels nach dem Jahr 1945 und nachfolgende Durchsetzung der kommunistischen Ideen in der Tschechoslowakei auf das Aussehen von dem Braunau-Land vor. Wir wenden unsere Achtsamkeit der Stellung von staatlicher Denkmalpflege und den Versuchen von der Aktivierung der Bürgergesellchaft vor allem nach dem Jahr 1989 zu.

The text deals with the development of the relation to the Baroque landscape composed in Broumov Region and the treatment of its remains in the 19th and 20th centuries. It examines whether and in what form the approaches to this seemingly peripheral area reflected the general schemes of enlightenment, secularization, industrialization and nationalism. An important topic is the influence of the exchange of population after 1945 and the subsequent assertion of communist ideas in Czechoslovakia on the form of the Broumov landscape. The study also takes into account the attitudes of state monument care and attempts to activate civil society, especially after 1989.
