Jan Vojtíšek beschäftigt sich hauptsächlich mit den Kanzleien der Ehefrauen von Karl IV. und Wenzel IV. Zunächst untersucht er das Personal und kommt zu dem Ergebnis, dass fast alle Angestellten in den Kanzleien der Königinnen entweder vom Landesherrn empfohlen oder direkt von ihm ernannt wurden. In den Quellen deckt Vojtíšek die Änderungen der Titel dieser Personen ab; es waren nicht mehr als drei gleichzeitig in der Kanzlei. Darüber hinaus beschäftigt er sich mit den Kanzleiprodukten dieser Institutionen – gewissermaßen beeinflusst durch den begrenzten Handlungsspielraum der Königinnen, der sich erst während ihrer Witwenzeit leicht ausweitete. Insgesamt lässt sich feststellen, dass diese Kanzleien eher einfach organisiert und stark vom Herrscher (genauer von Kanzlei und Hof) abhängig waren. Dies wird durch die Tatsache belegt, dass die Königinnen keine Aufzeichnungen in den Registern führten, ihre Dokumente jedoch bei Bedarf in die königlichen Register kopiert werden konnten. Der Autor schließt seinen Artikel mit einer Tabelle ab, in der alle Angestellten der Königinkanzleien im angegebenen Zeitraum aufgeführt sind.

Jan Vojtíšek mainly deals with the chanceries of the wives of Charles IV and Wenceslas IV. First, he examines the personnel, arriving at the conclusion that nearly all employees in queens’ chanceries were either recommended by the sovereign or directly appointed by him. In sources, Vojtíšek covers the changes in titles of these persons; there were no more than three at a time in the chancery. Furthermore, he looks into the chancery products of these institutions – to a certain extent they were influenced by the limited range of action of queens that slightly expanded only during their widowhood. On the whole, it can be stated that these chanceries were rather simply organised and were strongly dependent on the ruler (or more precisely his chancery and court). It is evidenced by the fact that the queens did not keep records in the registers but their documents could be copied into the royal registers if needed. The author concludes his article with a chart including all the employees of queens’ chanceries over the given period.
