This digital edition presents a transcription of the first book of the significant work Historiae Francorum, authored by Gregory of Tours (539-594). It constitutes a crucial historical source providing valuable insights into the events and societal structures of the early Middle Ages. The edition includes a transcription of the Carolingian manuscript preserved in the National Library of Paris under the signature Lat 9765.
