The ninth annual international doctoral conference Three Centuries in the Heart of Europe. European Aristocracy in the Early Modern Period was held on October 2 and 3, 2025. The first day of the conference took place at the Faculty of Arts University of Hradec Králové, and the second day at the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy University of Pardubice. The conference had a significant international character, with speakers not only from a total of six European countries (the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Italy, and Spain), but also from the USA. The papers mainly concerned the nobility and aristocratic diplomacy during the 16th and 17th centuries. Several contributions were also presented on Auxiliary Sciences of History and Ecclesiastical History.
