On 1st to 4th June 2011 a workshop was held, focused to presentation of results of the research project Research and use of pyrop-almandines as a new source of natural raw material with complex applications in industry. A special small exhibition of minerals from the Shavaryn Tsaram deposit was included, showing precious stones, which are industrially exploitable and usable in the jewelery industry. Workhop was followed by excursion to important geological sites, museums and galleries in the Czech Republic. The workshop was attended by 16 members of the Belgian Gemmological Association and 7 participants from relevant Czech institutions
